How we got here.
A short history of a small team. With some coffee-stained moments.
September 2023
The coffee-shop sketch
Kacper and Alex met at a co-working space in Warsaw. Alex was sketching habit trackers on napkins. Kacper was debugging a Next.js build. The word "Poppie" appeared on a post-it. It never left.
February 2024
v0.1 to 1,000 beta testers
We soft-launched a closed beta on Product Hunt's alt-account scene. Got 1,087 signups in a weekend. Nearly cried. Did cry.
October 2024
Mila and Theo joined
We realized two people can't run a company. Mila brought the engineering rigor, Theo brought the memes. Both brought coffee.
March 2026
12,000 downloads & counting
The app is live in 47 countries. The template you're reading is our side-quest to help other indie devs ship theirs faster. Seems to be working.
